Celebrating co-production with Bath Spa Uni

Frome Museum, OpenStoryTellers and Bath Spa University party of celebration

We had an excellent day today with the volunteers from the Frome Museum and researchers from Bath Spa University celebrating our work with them.

For six months, we’ve been meeting, researching, sharing, advising and offering our feedback about the museum.

From the BSU website:

“Co-producing access awareness in the cultural heritage sector for people with learning disabilities.

The aim of our project was to raise awareness of the access needs of people with learning disabilities in heritage spaces, such as museums.”

The product which we co-produced with them is an information guide called “Accessible and inclusive museum practice. A guide to small and local museums”.

Find out more here, where you can even download your own copy:

We are all proud and delighted with the work we contributed to and especially artwork from our own freelance artist (Robin Meader Artist). https://outsidein.org.uk/galleries/robin-meader/

Thank you to Bath Spa University for approaching us to work with you.
