New year, new chair!
Alex says: It’s with real pleasure that I can announce that our new Chair of Trustees is Sally Davenport. Some of you will already know Sally as she joined the board as a trustee in the summer. Since then, she has been leading on our inclusive governance work with Joe, Ellie and Clemma and is keen to get started regularly liaising with newly elected artist advocates in the new year.
I am really excited to introduce her to you all:
Sally says: New year is often a time to make plans for the coming months and begin a new chapter. So it is for Open Story Tellers. We are planning some new and exciting initiatives which we believe will benefit all who are currently part of OST as well as expanding what we offer to new people.
There’s lots to do and there are some comings and goings. We said goodbye and a heartfelt thank you to Sarah, our Chair of the last 4 years. Sarah has given so much to everyone at OST, the artists, our staff colleagues, volunteers, the charity, the trustees, and leaves us in good shape to move forward.
Change is always a challenge but I am confident as your new chair, together we make a great team, listening, sharing and working together. Happy New Year!
